Born and raised in Brooklyn New York, Dan “Worldwide” Worthy is a Crypto Technology Educator who draws upon rugged street smarts, military training, academic achievement, entrepreneurial prowess and a fervent passion for the transformative potential of blockchain technology.

Dan began as a homeless troubled youth, committing crimes to survive and living a life of violence that had him expelled from school at just 14. His mother forced him to get a GED at 16 but the street life brought him a felony criminal prosecution that would've sent him to prison, but an 11th hour petition by his mother and a military recruiter sent him from Riker's Island to Army Basic Training where he embraced the discipline, community, and honorable service that ultimately changed his life.

After Operation Enduring Freedom, Dan came home from war in Afghanistan and began his transition from military to civilian life through education. He began with an Associates degree from Monroe Community College and then earned both a bachelors and double master's degree from Rochester Institute of Technology,

His new academic credentials opened the door to a career in the corporate America where he thrived for over a decade, navigating corporate complexities with a unique blend intellectual prowess, military precision and strategic insight gained from early years in the street. He eventually rose to the 3rd ranking executive at BWI Airport.

But Dan's insatiable thirst for knowledge and achievement eventually drew him into the entrepreneurial realm where he embarked upon a series of business ventures. Although some endeavors were more successful than others, in each effort he learned valuable lessons while drawing upon insights from all facets of his life. Hard knocks, military discipline, corporate leadership and entrepreneurial innovation are Dan Worthy's foundation and a testament to his adaptability and resilience.
